{"id":223,"date":"2017-11-27T19:07:46","date_gmt":"2017-11-27T19:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/virginiasturkey.com.mx\/english\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=223"},"modified":"2023-01-06T19:50:16","modified_gmt":"2023-01-06T19:50:16","slug":"pay-salado-de-pavo-ahumado","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/virginiasturkey.com.mx\/english\/project\/pay-salado-de-pavo-ahumado\/","title":{"rendered":"Smoked turkey Quiche"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 9-inch no-bake pie shell <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 1\/4 cups smoked turkey, diced (about 6 ounces)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1\/3 cup chopped onion<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 tablespoon butter or margarine<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 1\/2 cups grated Swiss cheese (4 to 6 ounces)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">3 eggs, lightly beaten<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 cup cream<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1\/2 teaspoon dry mustard<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1\/8 teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">1 pinch of ground red pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steps<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">1) Bake the uncut puff pastry shell in a 450 degree F oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees F.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">2) Meanwhile, in a medium skillet, cook turkey and onion in butter over medium-high heat until onion is tender, but not brown. Sprinkle cheese over the bottom of the precooked shell. Pour the turkey mixture over the cheese.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">3) In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, mustard, salt, and red pepper. Pour over turkey-cheese mixture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">4) Bake at 375 degrees F for about 30 minutes. If necessary, cover the edge of the crust with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning.
